Mrs. Carrie Britt

Engagement Specialist

Carrie Britt is a seasoned registered nurse with four decades of experience in healthcare, specializing in case management and leadership. Her expertise encompasses pediatric oncology, adult and pediatric home care, and adult disease management, particularly within Medicaid and Medicare populations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, and pursued a Master’s degree at Howard University School of Education in Washington, D.C. As the director of the Visiting Nurse Association in Baltimore, MD, she successfully led an interdisciplinary team through changes in the definition of homebound status for Medicare reimbursement. She has conducted physical and behavioral assessments for veterans seeking Army Disability ratings and coordinated drug rehabilitation services at the Anne Arundel Department of Health. An active volunteer in Howard County, MD, she has served as Ministry Leader for Celebrate Recovery and Celebrate Recovery Inside at the Maryland Correctional Institute for Women and the Howard County Detention Center. As a member of First Baptist Church of Guilford, she engages in Women and Youth Ministries. Mrs. Britt is the devoted wife of LCDR. Ret. Rodney Britt Sr. for 42 years, with two adult sons and one grandchild. Her life’s purpose has been deeply influenced by her journey as a 38-year cancer survivor.
