About the event
Join us for a community-focused training dedicated to improving prostate health awareness among men, with a special emphasis on supporting Black men who face a significantly higher risk of prostate cancer. This free event provides education, early detection opportunities, and access to health professionals committed to empowering men with knowledge and resources.
Approximately 1 in 6 Black men will develop prostate cancer in their lifetime, compared to 1 in 8 men overall.
Black men experience a 60–67% higher incidence of prostate cancer than White men.
This training aims to close that gap through education, early detection, and community support.
